HM King holds meeting with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince
Manama: As the best means to boost joint GCC action, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have affirmed the importance of enhancing joint cooperation within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The two leaders also stressed that the joint action was for achieving progress and prosperity for GCC people and confront the current challenges, in line with the common history and common destiny shared by GCC States. In a meeting, HM King Hamad discussed with the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince the latest regional and global development, as well as issues of common interest. They also reviewed the deep-rooted Bahraini-UAE relations, and ways to enhance them in various fields.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who arrived here yesterday, was welcomed by HM the King along with Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al
Khalifa.
