HM King lauds Kuwaiti Amir’s role in boosting ties
Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa lauded the “pioneering” role played by Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah in enhancing bilateral relations, strengthening unity among GCC countries and serving Arab and Islamic issues and boosting joint Arab action.
Receiving a letter from the Kuwaiti Amir, pertaining to the deep-rooted bilateral relations and ways to buttress them in various fields, HM the King expressed pride in the outstanding Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations. The Kuwaiti Amir’s Special Envoy, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Shaikh Mohammed Al Khalid Al Hamad Al Sabah handed over to HM the King the letter in a meeting at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
On the occasion, HM the King stressed the importance of continuous coordination between the two countries, as the best means to strengthen their ties within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The Kuwaiti Amir’s Special Envoy, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister arrived here earlier yesterday. He was welcomed by the Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
