Health Expansion for “Tamtani” Platform Launched
The Government Hospitals announced the approval of an expansion plan for the “Tamtani” platform services, marking the start of its implementation to enhance patient and family experience. The initiative follows its recognition as the Public Choice Award winner in the seventh edition of the government innovation competition “Fikra,” in line with directives from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
A specialised committee has been formed to oversee execution, with the first phase covering 16 critical departments including intensive care units, operating theatres, maternity, emergency admissions, and specialised wards. The expansion also integrates several services such as pharmacies, patient relations, social services, and call centres into a unified system, supported by technical upgrades, staff training, and public awareness campaigns to ensure efficient and sustainable service delivery.
