‘Air Show a positive effect on national economy’

EDB member Khalid Ali Al Amin yesterday said the Kingdom, and especially its economy, was growing, thanks to the large support and care given by the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, stressing that the organisation of Bahrain International Air Show 2016 came to reap the fruits of the great achievements of the reform project at all levels, especially the economic ones.

“The organisation of aviation exhibitions, conferences, other exhibitions and Formula One, alongside the Spring of Culture and other events, is a continuation of a series of major achievements of the ongoing events of great international acceptance,” he said.

He said the growth of the aviation sector in the Arab world contributes to the development of the tourism sector in the region, which in turn contributes to stimulate economic development, which attract investment, create more job opportunities and promote trade between the countries in the region.

In spite of continuing to play an important role in the future as a catalyst for economic development, it is still necessary to work to continue to explore more important in the near and long-term opportunities.

Thanks to the Higher Organising Committee for the Bahrain International Aviation and chaired by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, and large contributions by the Bahrain Defence Force and all associate and weapon Royal Bahraini Air, in the preparation and organisation and participation in this exhibition, he stressed that these efforts reflected the large high-efficiency excellence and the ability they enjoyed in all aviation science.

The large international participation in the activities of this session of the exhibition confirmed the international confidence owned by Bahrain and the success of its foreign policy to maintain a strong international relations with all countries in the world, Amin said.
