The Ministry of Interior has confirmed that Bahrain International Airport was targeted yesterday by an Iranian drone, causing material damage but no casualties, while authorities continue to secure the site.
Flight operations remain suspended for the second consecutive day as the Kingdom’s airspace stays closed amid ongoing regional tensions.
The airport initially announced the suspension yesterday as a precaution, and a subsequent update confirmed the continuation of halted operations due to the evolving situation.
