Bahrain Launches Renovation of 60 Mosques Across Kingdom
The Office of the Bureau of the Council of Representatives extended its warmest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Bureau also conveyed its greetings to the people of Bahrain, all residents, and the Arab and Islamic nations, praying that Ramadan brings blessings, prosperity, and progress to all.
The Bureau affirmed that the achievements of the legislative authority and its valuable contributions to supporting Bahrain’s development and modernization efforts are the result of the royal support from His Majesty the King. It highlighted the continued commitment to strengthening fruitful cooperation and coordination between the executive and legislative authorities, serving the interests of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people, and supporting the goals of the comprehensive national development agenda.
In addition, the Bureau praised the initiative of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to inaugurate, renovate, and rehabilitate 60 mosques under the management of the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Directorates across all governorates, as part of a broader plan to develop mosques nationwide.
The remarks were made during a meeting of the Office of the Bureau of the Council of Representatives, chaired by Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council, with the attendance of Deputy Speakers Abdul Nabi Salman Ahmed and Ahmed Abdulwahid Qarata, as well as heads of key parliamentary committees and senior officials, including Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Buainain, Secretary-General of the Council, and Dr. Saleh Ibrahim Al-Ghathith, Head of the Legal Advisors Bureau.
During the meeting, the Bureau reviewed the agenda for upcoming Council sessions and discussed several parliamentary matters of significance.
