The New Millennium School, Bahrain, celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm, pride, and patriotic spirit. The occasion served as a reminder of India’s rich democratic heritage and the values that guide the nation.
Special assemblies conducted by both the Junior and Senior Sections reflected the spirit of national pride and honour through a vibrant showcase of patriotic songs, dances, speeches, and skits.
The students eloquently expressed their love for the motherland and highlighted the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who paved the way for India’s independence. The entire campus was beautifully decorated in the colours of the Tiranga and reverberated with patriotic fervour as students solemnly read out the Preamble of India.
Students took a pledge to preserve and promote the culture and rich heritage of both India and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Various activities such as self-composed poem recitations on the motherland, flag decoration, role plays, and speeches on Indian freedom fighters were conducted, fostering a deep sense of patriotism and respect for national values among the students.
Principal Dr. Arun Kuumar Sharma addressed the gathering and motivated the students to imbibe the true meaning of patriotism by becoming responsible, compassionate, and visionary citizens.
Dr. Ravi Pillai, Chairman, and Mrs. Geetha Pillai, Managing Director, extended their warm wishes to the entire NMS family on the occasion and encouraged the students to grow into socially responsible individuals who uphold the values of unity, peace, and progress.
