Pakistan Embassy Hosts Interactive Session to Strengthen Welfare for Overseas Diaspora

The Pakistan Embassy in Bahrain recently hosted an interactive session featuring a high-level delegation led by Mr. Muhammad Afzal Bhatti, Managing Director of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF). The event brought together prominent members of the Pakistani diaspora and leading local business figures to discuss welfare initiatives and community development.
The primary focus of the discussion was on enhancing welfare programs for Overseas Pakistanis. Mr. Bhatti and Embassy officials emphasized the importance of streamlined facilitation and the ongoing efforts by the Embassy to provide better services to the community. The session served as a platform for the diaspora to share insights on improving support mechanisms and addressing the unique needs of Pakistanis living in Bahrain.
Participants reaffirmed the deep-rooted and enduring bonds shared between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain. The delegation acknowledged the significant contributions made by the Pakistani diaspora toward the economic and social progress of both nations.
The session concluded with expressions of sincere appreciation for the Bahraini Government’s steadfast support and hospitality. Both the OPF delegation and community leaders pledged to continue working closely to foster growth, strengthen community ties, and further the mutual interests of Pakistan and Bahrain.
