The Asian School, Bahrain Celebrates 42nd Annual Day with Grandeur

The Asian School, Bahrain celebrated its 42nd Annual Day, with immense pride, highlighting the institution's commitment to holistic education and excellence.

The event was graced by distinguished Chief Guests Ms. Lulwa Ghassan Almuhana, Director of the Licensing and Follow-up Department, Ministry of Education, and Dr. Mazen Mohammed Ali, Dean of the College of Information Technology, University of Bahrain.

Following a warm welcome by Director Ms. Lovy Joseph, Principal Mrs. Molly Mammen presented the school’s key academic achievements of the year. The ceremony's highlight was the Prize Distribution, honoring top performers in academics, sports, and cultural events. Awards included the Kalashiromani and Kala Prathibha titles, along with trophies for individual and overall sports champions. The coveted Inter-House Sports Championship Trophy was clinched by Emerald House.

The school also acknowledged the dedication of its faculty, felicitating eight teachers for completing 10 years of service and one teacher for reaching 35 years of service. Academic Excellence certificates were also awarded to Grade 8 students on the Principal’s Honour List for 2024.

The evening was enhanced by vibrant cultural programmes and an impressive performance by the ASB Symphony Orchestra and School Band. The 42nd Annual Day successfully underscored the school's legacy of excellence and received resounding appreciation from all attendees.
