HM King Thanks Trump for Role in Gaza Peace Agreement

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to US President Donald Trump for his tireless efforts and initiatives in supporting the peace process in the Middle East.

His Majesty hailed the agreement reached to end the war in Gaza as “a day of peace for the Middle East and the world,” noting that it opens new horizons for the peoples of the region to live in security and stability. His Majesty praised President Trump’s direct role and sponsorship of this historic agreement, which reflects the United States’ commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region.

Reaffirming Bahrain’s firm stance, His Majesty underscored the Kingdom’s full support for the agreement to end the war in Gaza, based on its belief that peace is the strategic choice and the most effective path toward achieving development and prosperity for the region’s nations.

His Majesty emphasized the importance of all parties to the conflict adhering to the terms of the agreement and taking responsibility for its implementation. He also commended the significant efforts of the mediators and their vital role in fostering dialogue and finding common ground that led to this historic milestone — one that strengthens the culture of dialogue and promotes international cooperation.
