MP Dr. Maryam Al Dhaen marked World Teachers’ Day by calling for renewed national commitment to empowering educators and strengthening their professional support systems. She said the occasion was a time to honour the dedication of teachers and their key role in shaping an enlightened, responsible Bahraini generation.
Dr. Al Dhaen praised the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who placed education at the core of Bahrain’s development, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who treats education as a national priority linked to sustainable growth.
She commended the Ministry of Education’s ongoing digital transformation efforts under H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, noting that empowering teachers both academically and professionally is the best investment in Bahrain’s future.
Dr. Al Dhaen reaffirmed that teachers are the true foundation of Bahrain’s progress, urging continued cooperation between schools, government institutions, and the wider community to uphold their status and ensure that every Bahraini household recognises education as the nation’s most enduring legacy.
