National Guard Chief Visits Naval Support Unit
Lieutenant General Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the National Guard, paid a visit to the Naval Support Unit at the National Guard camp in the Kingdom’s Northern Sector on Wednesday morning (October 1).
He was accompanied by Major General Hisham Mohammed Al Zayyadi, Assistant for Administrative Affairs, and Brigadier General Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Assistant for Operations and Training. The unit’s commander and officers welcomed the delegation upon arrival.
During the visit, the Chief of Staff received a briefing from the unit commander on the tasks and responsibilities carried out by the unit, as well as the efforts being made to enhance operational and training readiness. He also reviewed preparations and measures undertaken to ensure the unit’s ability to perform its assigned duties.
Lieutenant General Sheikh Abdulaziz stressed that, under the directives of Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, the force continues to modernize its weapons and equipment systems. These upgrades are designed to meet current and future requirements, in line with the Guard’s mission of safeguarding Bahrain’s security and stability.
Concluding his visit, the Chief of Staff praised the unit’s personnel for their dedication and efforts in addressing various security challenges within their area of responsibility. He also witnessed a display showcasing the unit’s naval equipment, weapons, and operational gear, expressing admiration for the high level of preparedness and combat readiness demonstrated.
