Southern Governorate Investment Exhibition Inaugurated, Showcasing Comprehensive Development

His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, inaugurated the fourth edition of the Southern Governorate Investment Exhibition, titled “With the Southern Governorate, We Set Out for the Future”, highlighting the region’s remarkable progress in investment and development.

During the event, His Highness emphasized that the governorate’s achievements in fostering investment, supporting entrepreneurs, and promoting private sector participation reflect the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the steadfast support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. These efforts aim to advance the governorate’s comprehensive development and create new opportunities for growth.

The exhibition, which has gained recognition for its previous successful editions, serves as a platform to encourage local investment across various sectors. The event was attended by MP Mohammed Al-Rifai, Chairman of the Southern Municipal Council Abdullah Ibrahim Abdul Latif, Deputy Governor Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al-Khayyat, Director General of the Southern Municipality Engineer Issa Abdul Rahman Al-Buainain, along with CEOs, entrepreneurs, dignitaries, and notable figures from the governorate.

His Highness highlighted the importance of showcasing pioneering projects and establishing the Southern Governorate as a hub for sustainable development and innovation. The exhibition aims to provide investors with opportunities to contribute to the governorate’s growth while enhancing leadership, creativity, and business potential.

Abdullah Yousef Al-Ghatam, Head of the Investment Development Department, praised His Highness’s ongoing support for investment initiatives, public-private partnerships, and the empowerment of young entrepreneurs and local business owners. He noted that the exhibition aligns with the governorate’s vision of becoming a model for health, innovation, and economic excellence.

The Governor, along with attendees, toured the exhibition’s pavilions to explore projects and products from participating entrepreneurs. His Highness also honored several entities for their contributions, including Masar Group, Al Areen Holding Company, Durrat Al Bahrain, InnoVest Company, and other local projects and entrepreneurs.
