Bahrain’s GSA Signs Strategic MoU with Chinese Construction Giant

Following directives from His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the General Sports Authority (GSA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Bahrain).
The agreement reflects ongoing efforts to develop Bahrain’s sports infrastructure and strengthen the Kingdom’s position on the regional and international sports map.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority, and Mr. Li Deliang, Deputy General Manager of the Chinese company. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both parties, during which opportunities for joint cooperation in developing sports facilities and infrastructure were also discussed.
The agreement paves the way for strategic collaboration, enabling the implementation of high-quality projects that meet the latest global standards. It also facilitates the exchange of expertise and knowledge to support future initiatives, ensuring top-quality execution and mutual benefits for both sides.
