HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Represents King at Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit

Representing His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa participated today in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit held in Doha, Qatar. The summit brought together Arab and Islamic leaders to discuss the recent Israeli attack on Qatari territory.

Upon arrival, HH Shaikh Abdullah was warmly welcomed by HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar. In a message delivered to the summit, His Majesty King Hamad condemned the attack, describing it as a violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, regional security, and international law.

Bahrain extended heartfelt condolences to the Qatari leadership and people for the martyrs of the Internal Security Force, while praying for the recovery of the injured. The King’s statement also highlighted the threat such aggression poses to regional stability and peace efforts, particularly amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The summit emphasized Qatar’s continued efforts, alongside Egypt and the United States, to secure a lasting ceasefire and facilitate the release of hostages. Bahrain reaffirmed its support for Qatar and regional stability during these critical discussions.
