Bahrain and Jersey Sign Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement to Strengthen Economic Ties

The Kingdom of Bahrain and Jersey have taken a significant step in strengthening their economic, investment, and trade relations with the signing of a Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement.
His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, emphasized the strong and distinguished cooperation between Bahrain and Jersey, highlighting the mutual commitment to advance bilateral collaboration across all sectors.
The agreement was signed during a meeting with Senator Ian Gorst, Minister for External Relations of the Government of Jersey, who visited Bahrain to discuss expanding ties. The accord aims to prevent double taxation and tax evasion, promoting smoother investment flows and facilitating economic growth for both nations.
His Excellency Sheikh Salman noted that the agreement is a vital step toward enhancing partnership opportunities and developing joint initiatives, ensuring sustainable economic growth and long-term benefits for both countries and their peoples.
