Bahrain airport passenger volume up 11% to 865,753

Bahrain International Airport handled 865,753 passengers in July 2025, up 11 per cent on June’s 780,000, according to Civil Aviation Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications.
The month-on-month rise was close to 85,000 travellers.
Departures reached 453,944. Arrivals totalled 411,617. Transit passengers numbered 192.
Aircraft movements stood at 8,748 flights, split between 4,376 departures and 4,372 arrivals. A further 47,832 aircraft crossed Bahraini airspace.
Cargo and airmail
Total cargo and airmail came to 35,129 tonnes, made up of 13,760 tonnes of imports, 8,614 tonnes of exports and 12,755 tonnes of transit shipments.
The fastest growth in passenger routes in July 2025 versus July 2024 was on the Indian cities of Bangalore and Hyderabad, up 117 per cent with 37,266 passengers.
Abu Dhabi rose 31 per cent to 57,301 passengers, and Doha increased 18 per cent to 54,101.
