Bahrain and Oman Strengthen Tourism Ties Through New Business Association

The deep and brotherly ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman continue to grow, especially in the important field of tourism, which plays a vital role in boosting economic growth.

This was highlighted by Her Excellency Fatima bint Jaffar Al-Sirafi, Bahrain’s Minister of Tourism, during her meeting with Her Highness Hujijah bint Jaffer Al Said, CEO of the Bahrain-Oman Business Pioneers Association. The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Ahmed Sabah Al Saloom, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the association, along with other members.

The Minister congratulated the association on its establishment and launch, emphasizing the importance of joint cooperation in supporting tourism and economic initiatives between the two countries.

Minister Al-Sirafi pointed out the significant role civil society organizations play in strengthening cooperation by organizing events and exhibitions, promoting cross-border tourism, and showcasing the unique attractions both countries offer.

She also expressed Bahrain’s eagerness to continue working closely with Omani institutions involved in exhibitions and conferences to share expertise, creating more opportunities for collaboration that will benefit both nations.

On her part, Her Highness Hujijah bint Jaffer Al Said expressed pride in the strong relationship between Bahrain and Oman and praised Bahrain’s Ministry of Tourism for its efforts to develop the tourism sector and open new horizons for bilateral cooperation that serves shared interests.
