Royal push to advance growth and citizens’ aspirations

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, discussed national matters and efforts to further advance the Kingdom of Bahrain’s vision and development, aimed at sustaining progress and achieving the aspirations of its citizens.

This came as HM the King received HRH Prince Salman, along with several senior officials at Sakhir Palace.

HM King Hamad expressed pride in the distinguished achievements delivered by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister through leading government efforts towards higher levels of development across all sectors.

Plans and visions

His Majesty also commended the dedication and competence of Bahraini citizens in implementing national plans and visions, noting the inspiring success stories in various disciplines.

He also commended the positive outcomes of the successful visit of Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa of Syria, which is expected to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Furthermore, HM the King affirmed the importance of the upcoming GCC–US Summit, scheduled to take place this week in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

He wished the summit success, underscoring its role in serving security, stability, and peace in the region, as well as strengthening longstanding ties, constructive cooperation, and joint efforts with the US in pursuit of shared interests.

His Majesty also commended the significant achievements of the legislative authority over the past three sessions of the sixth legislative term of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives, as well as their continued efforts to support national development and plans and fulfil their legislative and oversight responsibilities.
