AMAIUB gives tuition grants to talented students
Committed to supporting deserving students who fulfil their educational aspirations and advance in their career goals, AMA International University-Bahrain (AMAIUB) has given a number of tuition fee grants.
AMAIUB’s academic grants are geared to attract and educate intellectually gifted and exceptionally talented students.
This is also one of the University’s mechanisms to acknowledge students who exceedingly work hard in their high schools years.
For the First Trimester of the Academic Year 2015 - 2016, AMAIUB gave academic recognition to new enrollees who had remarkable high school Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) specifically, 120 students with CGPA of 80-85.9 per cent, 59 students with 86-90.9pc, 29 students with 91-95.9pc, and 9 students with 96-100pc.
All these 217 students qualified as academic achievers and therefore were awarded tuition fee grants accordingly.
This noble initiative will be extended to the current students at AMAIUB through the implementation of the University’s new policy on this matter.
This policy covers grants for students who show exemplary academic performance in the different programmes including Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Informatics, International Studies, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering.
Programmes in Business are accredited by the European Council in Business Education (ECBE) while Computer Science by Computing Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The two Engineering programmes are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
