Thailand to launch Multiple Entry Tourist Visa
Thailand will launch the Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) scheme with effect from November 13, 2015, announced the Royal Thai Embassy in Bahrain.
All other existing visa types, including the including the visa-free status remains unchanged.
The METV is applicable to tourists of all nationalities wishing to travel to Thailand.
The application fee for applying at the embassy in Bahrain is BHD65, and subject to the currency exchange rate, with a visa validity of six months and the duration of stay of up to 60 days per visit.
The METV scheme aims to boost the Thailand tourism industry and its readiness for the ASEAN community at the end of this year.
