Top honour for Shaikha Thajiba

Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa deputised Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), to confer the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa Order of the First Class on Shaikha Thajiba, the daughter of His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. 

HRH Princess Sabeeka welcomed the attendees to the ceremony held yesterday at Al-Rawdha Palace and praised Shaikha Thajiba’s generous and remarkable contribution to promoting charity work and reaching out to the needy as well as supporting social, diplomatic and economic activities. 

HRH Princess Sabeeka expressed appreciation of conferring on behalf of HM the King the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa Order of the First Class on Shaikha Thajiba in tribute to her dedicated efforts to serve the Bahraini community. 

Shaikha Thajiba expressed heartfelt thanks and respect to HM the King and HRH Princess Sabeeka, describing the honour as an incentive to exert more efforts.
