Budding scientists of Bahrain Indian School
Manama : Bahrain Indian School – BHAVANS organised a “Budding Scientist Competition” for students of Grade I in order to motivate and promote the ideas of the curious and intelligent young minds.
Budding scientists of Grade I participated with full enthusiasm and was eager to share their ideas.
The final round of the competition was conducted on October 9. The sixteen finalists of Grade 1 presented various experiments related to chemical reactions, density, aqua phonic fish tank, hologram, mixing of colours etc.
The competition helped in drawing out young learners’ hidden skills and knowledge. The students were judged on the introduction, concept explanation and materials used to demonstrate their experiment.
School Directors Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of parents and teachers in helping the students to explore science through project based learning and experiments.
