Tennis club to host open day for women
Manama : In line with Bahrain Tennis Club’s policy to spread the sport of tennis among women, the club recently signed up coach Hanna Grace Arco Espinosa from the Philippines for the training of youth players and the supervision of training programmes for women and girls.
The club’s Ladies Programme Consultant Dr Amal Al Jowder and Dr. Amal Al-Jowder and Head of the Ladies Committee of the club Marwa Mohammed Ahmed expressed their happiness on the appointment of the new coach, which is a great addition to the training and fitness programmes through her vast experience.
Bahrain Tennis Club will host an open day for women and girls on October 14, which will include tennis exercises for beginners and middle level. It will also include recreational competitions in which the players will receive in-kind prizes. The opening day will end with a dinner in the club lounge. Which will be hosted by the club for women in the coming period.
