Asian and Bahraini held for robbing car driver
Manama : The Director-General of Criminal Investigation & Forensic Science announced on Monday the arrest of a Bahraini and an Asian for robbing a resident who was carrying 625,000 Saudi riyals in his car.
The man reported the case to the Muharraq Police Directorate stating that as he was driving his car, he was stopped by two people who took him to a deserted area before robbing him of the amount. The suspects were subsequently identified and arrested.
The Director-General said that search would continue to arrest the remaining suspects in the case, adding that legal action was being taken and the case had been referred to the Public Prosecutor.
