BDS Bassali beat Indian Rising Star by 7 wickets
Manama : BDS Bassali defeated Indian Rising Star by seven wickets in the Bahrain Financing Company (BFC) sponsored BCL Premier League 25 overs final played at the Awali Oval Ground.
After winning the toss, Indian Rising Star elected to bat and were bowled out for 139 in 25 overs with Sreejesh (26) and Arun (26) joint top scorers, as BDS Bassali took wickets at regular intervals with Rafi (four for 28) in five overs and man of the match Saqib (two for 34) the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, BDS Bassali reached the target after scoring 140 for three in the 22nd over, despite losing the openers cheaply as Safdar (57) and Saqib (42) put together a 63-run partnership with Shyam (two for 28) the best of the Indian Rising Star bowlers.
