Developments to continue: HM King
Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday affirmed that the Kingdom is determined to continue its development programmes in all sectors.
Receiving Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa at Al Safriya Palace, HM the King reiterated his resolve to pursue the development momentum to “serve the nation, meet citizens’ aspirations and ensure them decent living conditions”.
On the occasion, HM the King was updated on the projects undertaken by National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA).
The projects include the new oil pipeline binding Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal, Banagas plant expansion, Bapco refinery expansion, in addition to the development of Bahrain oil field and other NOGA-supervised schemes.
His Majesty the King lauded the ambitious investment programmes and projects which aim at consolidating the vital sector, which is also a key pillar of the national economy and the development engine.
