BTC Ramadan Tournament begins
Manama : The Late Yousif Khalil Al Moayyed Cup is set to start tonight from 9.30pm as six group doubles group matches get underway at the Bahrain Tennis Club Ramadan Tournament at its premises in Juffair.
Doubles pairs have been drawn into three groups playing round-robin with the quarter finals set for June 7, the semi-finals on June 10 and the final match on June 18.
The second tournament will be for The Late Majid Al Zayani Cup - Super Doubles and comprises two round-robin group matches with the top two qualifying for the semi-finals on June 11 and the final set for June 13.
Tonight- Group 1: Hector Cortes/Mohammed Al Sayed vs Hussain Al Hassan/Venkat. Ahmed Qaed/Khalid Qayoom vs Alaa Eddine Lakhdar/Suraj Bhaskar. Group 2: Hussain Nashaba/Mohammed Al Mossawi vs Mohammed Yousif Abdulla/Abdul Majeed Mufiz. Mohab Mangoub/Islam Abo Alam vs Amin Sharaf/Mohammed Sharaf. Group 3: Naji Al Samaheeji/Ahmed Omran vs Nabeel Dawani/Dr Hussain Mukharraq. Isa Al Sammak/Ahmed Al Jassas vs Gerry Toledo/Raymond Leanu.
