‘Kingdom well suited for Indian investors’

ManamaIndian investors were asked to take advantage of the ample investment opportunities and joint projects in the Kingdom in order to enhance their presence in the region, top leaders said yesterday.

The growing bilateral ties between the two nations were discussed at the Bahrain-Kerala Business Investment Forum organised by the Economic Development Board at the Four Seasons Hotel – Bahrain Bay.

The forum, aiming to strengthen the bilateral economic relations and to increase investment cooperation between Bahrain and India was attended by Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of the state of Kerala in India, high level Bahraini officials and a number of Bahraini-Indian business community representatives.

The Kingdoms’ open business environment, strong infrastructure, well-developed legislative system as well as its highly skilled local workforce make Bahrain an attractive strategic choice for Indian investment, which will find Bahrain an ideal platform for businesses seeking to enter the US$1.5 trillion Dollars GCC market and establish a foothold in the region, it was stated.
