HM King issues royal decree promoting 359 BDF officers
Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued yesterday royal decree number 9 for 2017 promoting 359 officers of various military ranks from Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) . The promotions coincided with Bahrain's celebrations of BDF's 49th anniversary which is observed on February 5.
Marking the occasion, BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa conveyed to the promoted officers the congratulations of HM the King, the Supreme Commander, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King and Crown Prince. He also conveyed to them the best wishes of HM the King and HRH Prince Salman of more success in serving Bahrain.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief congratulated the promoted officers, calling on them to exert more efforts in fulfilling their national duty of defending the nation and contributing to BDF development under the leadership of HM the King.
