Invita Training Centre launched

ManamaRegional BPO service provider Invita launched its state-of-the-art training centre yesterday. 

Invita Training Centre (ITC) is an internationally accredited training services provider, focused on providing organisations and individuals with foundation-level, industry-neutral internationally certified training programmes.

The opening ceremony of ITC was held at its training centre in the presence of the Board,  Executive Management and media representatives, with the Chairman Rashad Akbari presiding over the inauguration ceremony.

ITC aims to improve the skills of Bahrainis entering the job market, with world-class training programmes managed by an experienced training team. ITC is one of the few training centres in the Kingdom to have been issued the ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Quality Management System.

Invita GM Rahul Bhalla said, “Having worked with the various organisations and within sights into the job market, we had realised the gap in the market for specialised training services. Understanding this need, Invita has launched the ITC with a vision to work with the organisations to develop, provide and maintain training curricula which is tailor-made to the needs of the organisaton as well as endorsed by leading training accreditation bodies.”

“We are proud to be working with Tamkeen, EDB and the Ministry of Labour in our various initiatives, which focus on addressing the skills gap while being quality-oriented and cost-effective,” he added.

Invita plans to launch its services in various phases, starting with customised training programmes for organisations, which will be used as part of the induction training as well as refresher training for existing employees in these organisations. It is worth mentioning that, the launch of the training centre comes as part of the upcoming 10th anniversary celebrations of Invita, which is set to take place in November.
