“Seventeen civil defence vehicles and 60 personnel were deployed to control the fire and prevent it from spreading,” a statement issued by the Ministry stated.

Civil Defence General Director Brigadier Mohammed Showaiter confirmed, “No casualties were reported, while the reason behind the fire is being investigated.”

He affirmed that the fire-fighting vehicles reached short after the case was reported.
