Health Minister gets additional charge
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday appointed the Minister of Health as the minister in charge of implementing the provisions of Decree-Law 21/2015 on private health institutions.
As per a decree issued, the same minister will also be responsible for the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) before the cabinet and the bicameral National Assembly.
HM King Hamad also issued decree re-structuring the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).
According to the decree, the panel will be chaired by the Labour Minister, and comprises Sabah Salim Al Dossary, Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Qaed, Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Maha Abdulhameed Mufeez, Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, Jehad Ibrahim Ameen, Jaafar Khalil Ibrahim and Yaqoob Youssef Mohammed as members for four-year terms.
