Indian Club Badminton concludes in Gudaibiya
Adnan Ebrahim and Vishnu Jaykumar defeated Jayakumar P and Prasobh R 21-16, 21-17 in men’s level 1 and Jayashree Nair and Neelam Singh got the better of Rehana Sundar and Satai Jaykumar 21-7, 21-18 for the women’s title on finals night at the Indian Club Meenumix Junior Open Singles 2016 and five levels of The Indian Club Open Men’s and Women’s Doubles 2016 at its premises in Gudaibiya.
In the junior competition, there were two double winners – Varsha Suresh in the Girls Under 13 and Under 16 categories and Dale Andrei in the Boys Under 16 and Under 19 events.
“This has been a fantastic two weeks of badminton and a huge vote of thanks to Ricson Rebello - the Badminton Secretary, the Badminton Sub Committee and our sponsors for the success of the event,” said Ashok Kumar T.S, General Secretary of The Indian Club.
