BIKC hosts SWS 2nd round

The Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC) hosts the second round of the 2015/2016 Bahrain SWS Endurance Championship on Saturday in Sakhir for another gruelling three-hour endurance challenge featuring plenty of high-octane, bumper-to-bumper battles.

Some of the most talented karters, both residing in Bahrain and overseas, are expected to take part, and officials are looking forward to what could be a record number of 22 teams or more lined up on the grid.

Interested parties are still welcome to sign up and compete with only a few slots available. Teams may consist of individuals of any nationality and skill level.

Teams can sign in from 1.30pm on the day at BIKC with the race starting at 5.40pm and followed directly by the podium ceremony.

All the racing will be held along BIKC’s 1.414-kilometre Commission Internationale de Karting (CIK) track and all spectators are welcome. The 2015/2016 Bahrain SWS Endurance Championship kicked off last November with a three-hour challenge.

Batelco Racing were the victors, finishing a hotly contested event ahead of overall runners-up BRM Racing. In third was BBK Racing taking the final podium spot.
