APM Terminals names new Chief Operating Officer
APM Terminals Bahrain, a subsidiary of one of the world leaders in port infrastructure, and operators of Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP), yesterday announced the appointment of Arno Storm, as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Prior to joining APM Terminals, Bahrain, Storm held senior positions at APM Terminals, Rotterdam, which is part of the Maersk Group from 2012 to October 2015. He joined the armed forces in 1999 following his graduation in Leadership, Management and Logistics, from the Royal Netherlands Military Academy, he served until 2011.
Commenting on the appointment, Mark Hardiman, Managing Director of APM Terminals Bahrain said: “We welcome Mr. Storm who brings with him a wealth of experience to our Bahrain operation. We look forward to his contribution to developing our talent pipeline which will positively impact our strategy to enhance customer service. In his new role we are confident that he will enable us to further build our team, and give us the advantage of a wide range of expertise in achieving our short term and long term objectives.”
