Bahraini-Jordanian parliamentary cooperation discussed
A joint parliamentary meeting between Bahraini Services Committee and Jordanian Labour, Social Development and Housing Committee convened today to discuss ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the labour and social development field.
Head of the Services Committee MP Abbas Al-Madhi underlined the importance of cooperation with the Jordanian parliament, pointing out strong ties binding both countries.
The Jordanian delegation arrived in Bahrain earlier today on an official visit to promote bilateral parliamentary cooperation and discuss issues of common concern. They will hold meetings with the Representatives Council Speaker, the Labour and Social Development Minister, the Minister of Commerce and Industry and the President of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It will also visit a number of institutions and companies in Bahrain.
The delegation comprises Head of the Labour, Social Development and Housing Committee Abdullah Abidat and MPs Dr. Mohsin Al-Rajoob, Mohammed Al-Dhahrawi, Saleem Al-Batayna and Mohammed Al-Hajaya.
