PM pledges to continue development drive

His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, yesterday pledged full support to all measures that would serve citizens’ interest and development drive. Addressing government officials as the pivot of development plans, HRH the Premier stressed that it is “our duty and the core of our national responsibility to achieve the citizens’ aspirations in education, housing, healthcare and jobs.”

This came as His Royal Highness the Prime Minister received yesterday Members of Parliament (MPs) led by First Deputy Speaker Abdulnabi Salman at Riffa Palace. The Premier told MPs that the Executive and the Legislative bodies share the same national goals and objectives to achieve the best interests of all citizens.

To address the issues concerning citizens, HRH the Premier told MPs, the government is keen on bolstering the Executive-Legislative cooperation. His Royal Highness stressed that the cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities constitutes the key essential pillar to accelerate the momentum of Bahrain’s progress in the various fields. The lawmakers expressed their gratitude to the PM for his continuous keenness in supporting governmental-parliamentary cooperation.
