Premier’s directive to relocate scrapyard lauded
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has directed to relocate the scrapyard in Mazraa to a site located between Jaw and the Tree of Life.
The directive was issued at the Cabinet session held on Monday.
The Prime Minister also assigned the Ministerial Committee for Building and Infrastructure to carry out a study to implement the directive in cooperation with the Southern Governorate.
Speaking to Tribune, Southern Municipal Council Chairman Ahmed Al Ansari said that the directive to welcome the scrapyard is a welcoming move and will benefit the public to a large extent.
