Bahrain’s Sadik Mikhou charges into 1500 metre semi final
Manama : Bahrain’s Sadik Mikhou has entered the semi final in the men’s 1500 metre race at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London. Sadik recorded an impressive win in the second heat, where Dutchman Richard Douma fell 30 metres from the line when well-placed to qualify.
The semi-finals will take place on Friday with the final on Sunday, the last day of the championships. Four Kenyans with eyes on 1,500 metre medals have qualified from Thursday’s first-round heats.
