Saudi arrest couple for riding motorcycle in public
Saudi Police arrested a local man and an Arab woman caught on camera riding a motorcycle together in public, a newspaper reported on Monday.
Alhiad quoted a police spokesman as saying the two were identified and arrested in capital Riyadh after a film showing them riding together went viral on social networks.
The spokesman said the man and the woman, in their 20s, violated the Gulf kingdom’s laws banning gender mixing in public places.
