Kremlin Demands Europe Lift Sanctions on All Russians

Moscow, Russia: Russia announced on Tuesday that the European Union should completely remove all Russian citizens and businessmen from its international sanctions list.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated during his daily briefing with journalists that the asset freezes and visa bans previously imposed by the 27-nation bloc are entirely illegal.
This sweeping demand coincides with EU member states actively discussing ending restrictive measures against prominent oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman, following specific requests from France, Luxembourg, and Slovakia.
However, fierce objections raised by Latvia have thrown the entire process of renewing these sanctions into serious doubt as a crucial regional deadline rapidly approaches.
