Iran's attacks will not go unpunished, says Dr Anwar Gargash

Dr Anwar Gargash, diplomatic adviser to the UAE President, stated on X that Iran’s attacks on civilians and infrastructure ‘will not go unaccounted for.’ He emphasized that the right to self-defense is guaranteed and that continued aggression will only ‘deepen the Iranian regime's isolation.’
His remarks follow a UN Human Rights Council resolution in Geneva that strongly condemned Iran’s ‘brazen aggression’ against Gulf states and Jordan. The council described these actions as flagrant violations of international law and state sovereignty.
The resolution, submitted by Arab groups, demands immediate compensation for those affected. This international stance underscores the gravity of threats to regional energy security and maritime navigation.
