Malaysia reaffirms support for Bahrain amid tensions
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, received a telephone call today from Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia.
During the call, both leaders exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, conveying their best wishes to their respective nations.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim reaffirmed Malaysia’s solidarity with Bahrain, strongly condemning the recent Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom. He emphasized Malaysia’s support for Bahrain in safeguarding its security, as well as the safety of its territory, citizens, and residents.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted the strong and longstanding ties between Bahrain and Malaysia, noting the continued growth of bilateral cooperation and coordination across various sectors. His Royal Highness also expressed appreciation for Malaysia’s supportive stance toward Bahrain.
