Will Smith Faces Lawsuit Over Sexual Harassment, Grooming Allegations
Los Angeles: Violinist Brian King Joseph has filed a lawsuit naming Will Smith and his company, Treyball Studios Management, alleging he was wrongfully fired after reporting a disturbing incident during Smith’s Based on a True Story 2025 tour. Filed December 31 in Los Angeles, the suit claims that while in Las Vegas, Joseph found signs someone had entered his hotel room without permission, leaving behind a sexual message, wipes, a beer bottle, HIV medication in another person’s name and unrelated hospital paperwork.
Allegations Against Will Smith
The lawsuit claims Brian King Joseph was blamed for the hotel incident and fired days later under the claim the tour was “moving in a different direction,” which he disputes, noting another violinist was quickly hired. Joseph also alleges sexual harassment, intimidation and that Smith had been “grooming” him since November 2024, citing increased private time together, a comment about their “special connection” and a suspicious incident involving his missing hotel key.
