Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School Celebrates Bahrain National Day with Patriotic Fervour

Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School (BIS) commemorated the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain with a dignified and vibrant Special Assembly, reflecting deep respect, gratitude, and pride for the nation that the school fondly regards as its second home. The programme highlighted Bahrain’s rich heritage, cultural unity, and progressive vision under its wise leadership.

The assembly commenced with a warm and eloquent welcome by the student hosts, setting the tone for a celebration rooted in history, unity, and shared success. The audience stood in solemn reverence for the Bahraini National Anthem, followed by a soulful recitation from the Holy Quran, which reinforced the values of faith, harmony, and respect.

On the occasion, Director Mr Himanshu Verma highlighted the patriotic fervour that unites citizens and residents alike, emphasising that Bahrain National Day is a celebration of shared values, harmony, and collective progress. Director Mrs Ritu Verma reflected on the Kingdom’s rich cultural legacy, noting how Bahrain’s traditions, tolerance, and heritage continue to inspire respect and admiration across communities.

The highlight of the assembly was the inspiring address by the Principal, Mr Saji Jacob, who reflected on Bahrain’s remarkable journey of progress and prosperity. He spoke about the strong bond between the Kingdom and its diverse communities and encouraged students to imbibe the values of unity, gratitude, and responsible citizenship.
