American University of Bahrain Celebrates the Kingdom’s National Day

The American University of Bahrain held its annual celebration marking the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day and anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession to the Throne. The event was hosted at the University’s campus in Riffa, with the attendance of faculty, students and staff.
On this distinguished national occasion, the American University of Bahrain conveys its warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as to the Government and people of Bahrain.
The University affirms its pride in joining the nation in commemorating the establishment of the modern Bahraini state as a Muslim Arab state by its founder Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of the accession of His Majesty the King to the throne.
Marking the occasion, Dr. Wafa Almansoori, Interim President and Provost of the American University of Bahrain, underscored the celebration’s importance within the University’s annual calendar, noting its deep significance for the people of Bahrain as a source of shared national pride and as a moment to reaffirm the values of belonging, unity and loyalty that embody the spirit of the Kingdom.
