BIS Kindergarten Observes Thanksgiving Day

The Kindergarten section of Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School (BIS marked Thanksgiving Day with a heart-warming celebration that highlighted gratitude, togetherness, and the spirit of appreciation. The event brought vibrancy to the campus as the young learners arrived dressed in cheerful hues of yellow and orange, symbolising warmth, joy, and thankfulness.
The celebration included a series of thoughtfully curated activities aimed at nurturing kindness and emotional expression among the children. Students joyfully wrote “Thank You” and gratitude notes to their parents, teachers, friends, and loved ones, an exercise designed to help them recognise the value of appreciation in everyday life. A special highlight of the day was the creation of a Gratitude Chart, a collaborative kindergarten craft activity symbolising collective thankfulness.
Each child contributed by adding their gratitude messages, making the chart a meaningful visual reminder of the importance of acknowledging and celebrating blessings. The atmosphere throughout the day remained festive, reflective, and joyful as the little ones embraced the essence of Thanksgiving with innocence and sincerity.
The Directors, Mr Himanshu Verma and Mrs Ritu Verma, along with the Principal, Mr Saji Jacob, expressed their appreciation to the teachers for organising a thoughtful and engaging celebration and commended the young learners for beautifully demonstrating the spirit of gratitude.
