NMS Bahrain hosts annual sports day for grades III to VI

The New Millennium School, Bahrain, hosted its Annual Sports Day for the students of Grades III to VI on 25th January on the school grounds.
The students competed in a variety of events, including track races such as 100m, 200m, 400m, sack race, skipping race and relays, as well as field events like tennis ball throw, basketball throw and long jump. Each event brimmed with energy and enthusiasm, as students displayed their talent and determination.
The highlight of the celebration was the announcement of the Individual Championship Awards for the best-performing boy and girl of the academic session 2024-25. Pratham Sumeet Khopar and Samanvi Chekke bagged the Individual Championship boy and girl awards respectively.
Addressing the students, Principal, Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma said that every participating student was a winner in his own self and also added that sports are not just about winning medals or setting records; they are about building character, resilience, and discipline.
Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai and the Managing Director, Geetha Pillai congratulated all the participants and lauded the school’s efforts in promoting sports as an integral part of education. They also underscored the importance of sportsmanship in today’s competitive world.
