The engagement comes just a year after Shaikha Mahra’s dramatic divorce from her royal ex-husband, Shaikha Mana Al Maktoum. Following the separation, she launched her popular perfume line, Divorced, which drew public interest.

Royal Background and Early Life
Born in 1994, Shaikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the daughter of Dubai’s ruler and UAE Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Zoe Grigorakos, who has Greek heritage. Before her royal duties, she was known as Christina and studied International Relations in London. In April 2025, she officially changed her name to Xtianna.

Apart from her royal responsibilities, Shaikha Mahra is a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist. She has worked on community development projects and supported vulnerable communities, including underprivileged children.
